Gregg Rodriguez, a native of Austin, is a self-taught photographer whose
career in photography began as a hobby. He enjoyed photographing architecture and
doing natural-light photography. When people began to offer to buy his work,
he discovered he possessed a talent in the field. Since then, he has moved into portraiture,
fashion and commercial work. His
extensive portfolio combines photojournalism, art and an uncommon perspective
to create unique images for his clients.
Gregg has found success in photographing people who feel
they are not photograph-worthy. “I work well with people
and have a talent for making them comfortable in front
of the camera—which is perhaps the most important factor
in getting a good photograph. If the person is
comfortable, their eyes will really say something to
you. And that is what truly makes the picture.”
Gregg’s work has been featured in Houston-based
publications such as Inside Houston, The Upper Kirby
Progressive and Energy Markets, and exhibited at the
Hyde Park Gallery.
Gregg has lived in Houston for eight years now and plans to make it his home for
years to come. Some of his work is available as stock art, or for sale as signed,
limited edition prints. Contact him at
